General Info

For those familiar with the annual KiSS Advent Calendar, organized by Topleka, this is pretty much the same concept. You make a set that is related to the theme in some way and then send it in. Each set is released with everyone else's sets, one per day, in the month immediately following the deadline. There will be 3 challenges per year with 3 months to complete each challenge. There is then a 3 month break for people to participate in the Advent Calendar.

Your set doesn't have to be big or extravagant. A small set will be just fine, though you're free to do virtually anything you want. This is supposed to be low pressure.

You can go ahead and claim release dates if you want - any date you want in the month of release. Please keep in mind that I'd like to release them all one after another every day, so if you pick a day at the end of the month, there will probably be gaps. If, however, there are more sets than days, we'll just double up on some days. Please note that release date claims are only final once I receive your set. Otherwise, it's first come, first serve.

Theme

The theme this time is costumes. This can be interpretted however you want. You could do a cosplayer, children playing dress-up, a Halloween set, or perhaps go a little more liberal with your interpretation and do a rockstar with his/her stage costumes (as long as they're flashy enough to be considered costumes and not just regular clothes, I guess). You could even do something like, say, a figure skater in his/her many costumes. The point is that the theme won't be strictly enforced. If you think it counts, it almost definitely does.

Submission Guidelines

Send your finished set as an attachment to kisstc@gmail.com along with your name/nickname, link (website or e-mail), the name of your doll, and on which date you'd like your set to be released if you have a preference.

The deadline for all entries is August 28, 2006.
